Shell & Mike’s Wedding Buttonholes

September 18th, 2015

I was so excited when I was asked to make the buttonholes for two of my closest friends Wedding – they are an amazing couple and I really wanted to make something special for them. I created 6 bespoke hessian, lace and silk satin button holes for Mike and his Groomsmen, 2 brooches and a corsage. Shell and Mike had a beautiful day on the 6th August, it was lovely to be a part of it!

Corsage anyone?

July 30th, 2014

Corsages make a great accessory for a wedding, they can be as flamboyant or understated as you like; adding that extra charm to an outfit and making a great keepsake from the special day.

Cool teal

February 2nd, 2014

I’ve been busy these last couple of weeks getting items ready to display in my friends shop. Cool crisp teal, pale blue and soft cream give an elegant and sophisticated charm to a spring wedding. A small bridesmaid bouquet, bow tie and matching hair accessories should look great in the shop window!

The Beginnings of a Fairy Tale …

September 29th, 2013

titania

This is the start of my bouquet ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, it has whimsical charm with lovely enchanting tones. Great for autumn weddings where there is just a hint of frost on the ground! I’ve also made a bow tie to match and a flower belt for a bridesmaid’s dress- a good way to spruce up an outfit and get everything matching on the big day!

New Flowers

August 26th, 2013

Have been mastering some flower making techniques this afternoon. This rose was pretty tricky to keep in position and probably needs a few more tacks to keep it secure!
